Here's a video on how to "relic" guitar parts for a vintage look old. This is the way I did for several years with excellent results. And 'the best of you do this in a well ventilated area and wear rubber gloves. After removing the parts you want age to sit for a while 'on cardboard or something similar. Check in about an hour and rinse with water. See how it looks and if you put them in a new aging cycle. Cut the time for goldhardware to 10 minutes and see what your looking pieces. Gold age faster than nickel and chrome or stainless steel safe. Do not hesitate to ask questions and leave me some comment on how this works for you. www.300guitars.com
