Dumble ODS-100 player with Lino Liekki Custom Wood.

Since the Dumble amps seem to generate much interest, I thought a sound clip of tonal possibilities (+ clean overdrive voice to be performed with or without a boost preamplifier) are available. Equipment used: Dumble ODS (blackface) 100, Marshall 1x12 "cabinet semi-open with Eminence Texas Heat 12" speaker. I used my go-to guitar, Custom Wood Linen: Seymour Duncan calibrated set of minihumbuckers, G3 scalloped neck E1 to facilitate folding, 1 bridge pickup sentimental further bridgethan normal for the juice of tone. Close mic Neumann U-87, the atmosphere is Sennheiser stereo pair. TC reverb in the mix. No EQ was used. The buzz you hear in the background is my guitar, recorded some time ago as an afterthought, which I find exciting. Maybe it's my study of Indian (Carnatic) classical methods emerge. Peter Lerche

Here's a video on how to "relic" guitar parts for a vintage look old. This is the way I did for several years with excellent results. And 'the best of you do this in a well ventilated area and wear rubber gloves. After removing the parts you want age to sit for a while 'on cardboard or something similar. Check in about an hour and rinse with water. See how it looks and if you put them in a new aging cycle. Cut the time for goldhardware to 10 minutes and see what your looking pieces. Mr Pitiful Album Diary - 4/7/07
